CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT?
If the patient calls in by 11 AM, it is possible to get a same-day appointment. Else, an appointment will be booked for the closest available slot.
WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST CONSULTATION?
Please bring your recent reports (if any) and recent consultation prescriptions. If you have visited any Apollo Hospitals before, please bring your UHID registration number. For first time visitors, please bring ID proof.
WHAT TESTS SHOULD I DO BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT?
It is best to get an in-person consultation with Dr. Ghosh before getting any tests done. He will recommend the necessary investigations to be done.
CAN I GET A REPEAT CONSULTATION AFTER GETTING MY INVESTIGATION REPORTS DONE ON THE SAME DAY?
Patients cannot get a second consultation on the same day due to the volume of previously scheduled appointments. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled on the nearest availability.
WILL I NEED TO PAY FOR MY FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT?
If the follow-up appointment is within 7 days of the first consultation, then you do not need to pay for it.
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?
Outpatient visits are usually not covered by insurance. Inpatient services may be covered by insurance, depending on your insurance provider.
DOES DR GHOSH DO HOME VISITS?
No, Dr. Ghosh sees patients in person at Apollo Hospitals – Vanagaram and Taramani (Apollo Proton Cancer Centre). For special cases, he conducts video consultations through WhatsApp Video.
